Dimensions Festival Round Up

For many Dimensions Festival had been a talking point all Summer, set in the stunning location of the abandoned Fort Punta Cristo on the Croatian coast and with a line-up full to the brim of cutting edge house and techno artists from across the globe, this really did seem like the dream festival.

Point Blank’s own Luke and Nick had the pleasure of attending Dimensions to play a set as part of the Way Back Here crew. Throughout the four day event they witnessed the likes of Moodyman, Theo Parrish, Space Dimension Controller, Todd Terje, Blawan, Surgeon, Pearson Sound, Levon Vincent, Carl Craig and a whole lot more.

During the daytime there was a mixture of boat and beach parties to get things warmed up for the long night ahead. Watching the sunset while sailing along with some of the world’s best DJs providing the soundtrack was a definitely highlight for all in attendance.

Excellently curated, the nights were filled with some of the biggest names in electronic music and were programmed to perfection as the vibe built from disco through to house and then the harder sounds of techno.

Lasting a full five days and with music running until dawn, the festival definitely required a lot of stamina, by the Monday it’s safe to say that everyone was feeling a little worse for wear, however the beautiful coastline of Croatia provides the perfect setting to wind down.
