OK OK… We have made you wait for long enough! The time has come to finally announce the lineup for the DJ Mag Top 100 Award Winners’ Party taking place on 26th October at Ministry of Sound, and it doesn’t disappoint!
Some of the biggest names in the electronic dance music scene will be celebrating their new ranking in the 2011 poll results and putting the mighty MOS sound system through its paces. DJs on the lineup so far include Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grande, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Alesso, Boy George and Marc Vedo with more very special guests TBA.
We are proud to be hosting the VIP room, representing the more underground UK flavours with Best of British ‘Best DJ’ winner Paul Woolford playing alongside one of the hottest producers of 2011 Midland who’s deep edit of Caribou’s sun (listen below) could be heard at pretty much every party and festival over the summer. Joining them will be the two talented Point Blank Students, Tee Circus and Axel Haube who were picked as the winners of our huge competition to win a DJ slot on the night. Congratulations again to them!
We can’t wait to get involved… and if you want to join us then this is your chance. We are giving away two pairs of VIP tickets for the event. These tickets will give you access to the area where the major players in the dance music industry will be partying providing an invaluable opportunity to do some networking and chat to some very interesting and inspiring figures. Plus (we imagine more enticingly for some!) you will also have access to the free bar!
Click here to find out how you can get your hands on the VIP tickets. The competition is open to all.
Note – if this link isn’t working, make sure you are logged into FB as a profile (rather than a page) and try again!
Not to worry if you don’t win tickets because everyone is welcome and we would love you all to join us for a good old fashioned midweek dance-off! The night runs from 9pm-3am. Tickets will cost £10 but are only available on the door so get there early to avoid disappointment… this will be a road block! All the door funds are being donated to the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) for their ‘Don’t Lose the Music‘ campaign. Find out more about that here.
